Valé is a female- and LatinX-led organization based in Far Rockaways, New York. We combine art, technology, and environmental science together to spark joy, provoke thought, and bring communities together in support of environmental justice.

We specialize in bilingual storytelling and community engagement through multi-dimensional projects designed to intrigue, educate, and inspire action.

Our EcoLab in the Rockaways is a shared creative space to nurture ecological awareness, support youth education, and strengthen our resilience to climate change.In the Ecolab, residents of the Rockaways, artists, and scientists collaborate, share ideas, build projects, and create deeper connections to the land and water that surround us.

Partners-

Through collaborations with partners like RISE, Urban Soils Institute, Laru Beya Collective, Rockaway Film Festival, NYC Parks, Edgemere Farm, Surfrider NYC, Chashama, B.R.I.D.G.E and Sol de Vida, Valé is able to increase the positive impacts our local youth and residents can make on our coastal ecosystems today and in the future.
